Keep it Simple

Remember:

• $anything^0=1$ (except $0^0$ which is undefined).
• $1/x^2 = x^{-2}$
• $x^5/x^3 = x^5 \times x^{-3} = x^2$
• Use * to mean multiply rather than x. x is a variable.
